It has seven layers .We start at the top with what you see, and go down to the actual wires. Let’s look at how a simple text message travels! Layer 7 is the Application Layer. This is the layer you can actually see and touch. It is your web browser, your email app, or your games. When you type a message and hit send, Layer 7 kicks off the journey.
